Hockey Season Update October 2015
Posted by Nobody on 21 October 2015
Well the season is in full swing and we have had a mix bag of results but spirits remain high!
Training at the new pitch at Campden School on Tuesday evenings has brought in some new players from Campden School and we are really excited about extending our link with the school more. We only have an hour timeslot for training, which isn't long; so we welcome you to train with us ready to start promptly at 7pm to fit as much skills in as we can as well as some game play at the end. If you wish to get back to hockey or try hockey please feel free to come along - whilst league games require you to be 13+yrs to play we have a growing number of 12 year olds joining us and we'd love more as you are our future!
We have two ladies teams and the 1s who were newly promoted to North Division have had a mix of results, a win, 2 draws and a loss. We are looking forward to pushing on and getting the results we are capable of so please watch this space!
Our ladies 2s have had the same mixture of results with a win, 2 draws and a loss too! The team was plagued by illness and injury last week so doing well. We hope more youngsters will come up through the team and grow with us.
So we are coming upto the half term break - the 1s are playing at home this weekend vs Westberries with pushback at 10am and the 2s are travellling to idillyic Painswick for their game. Then we have a rest for a week or two!
So please do get in touch if you want to learn more or pop along to training - you'll be very welcome!
